Introduction - lesson objectives are presented in a multimedia format to introduce concepts and proper procedures to students. The introduction session is supervised by a qualified instructor.
Evaluation Sessions - students apply the knowledge and skills learned in the first two phases and are evaluated on performing the targeted driving skills.
Safe Driver Education Training simulation systems feature a specific Driver Education Curriculum that is recommended by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This system was developed using the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (ADTSEA) program and the TRAINER Suggested Driver training system that was developed for use in the European Community. Students spend approximately 20 minutes on each lesson. The instructor evaluates the student's level of understanding and driving skills and selects a lesson plan that is specifically applicable to the student's driving level.
